Bajaj Auto Limited is an Indian auto-vehicle manufacturing company. It is sixth largest in the world and second in India. Additionally, Bajaj produces three wheeler auto-rickshaw also and it is largest manufacture of the world.

Bajaj Auto Limited was founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan in 1926. It is headquartered in Pune, (Maharastra) India. It has three manufacturing lines including R&D, Chakan-Pune (Maharastra), Waluj-Aurangabad (Maharastra), Pantnagar (Uttarakhand).

Bajaj is well known in global market. In addition, Bajaj accounts 35% of total sales from export only. It exports products in several countries in Latin America, Africa, Middle East, South and South East Asia.

Like other auto-companies, Bajaj had tie-up with Kawasaki, which ended after 33 years. Further, it partnered with KTM, an Austrian auto company. Consequently, Bajaj has expanded it’s portfolio in premium performance bikes like KTM Dukes.

Bajaj is the first Indian motorcycle manufacturer, which produces 4-stroke sporty look performance bikes. Previously, market is dominated by low-end mileage driven bikes by Hero, Honda and TVS.

Although, Bajaj’s most selling performance motorcycles is Pulsar series. It produces Pulsar brands in different segments from 150 cc to 220 cc. Recently, It has launched 373.3 cc Bajaj Dominar 400. Interestingly, Bajaj has discontinued Pulsar 135LS in September 2018.
