Pulsar is one of the best selling and popular bike of India. In recent development, company has updated 2019 model of Pulsar 220F with single channel ABS. The updated bike to cost more around ₹7,600.
According to the new laws by government, all the new 2 wheeler above 125 cc will have Anti Locking Breaking System (ABS) or Combined-braking System (CBS) from 1 April, 2019 onward. Whether it is scooter or bike, all will comply this rule.
Thereby, Bajaj has planned it’s Pulsar series to equipped with the ABS.
The BSIV compliant, later BSVI, Pulsar 220F will see a price hike of ₹7,600 with the ABS. Without ABS, Pulsar 220F is priced at ₹97,670 in Pune showrooms. Now you have to pay ₹1,05,254 with ABS enabled version.
The sporty performance pulsar has dominating sell records in the past two decades in the Indian market, specially in this segment.
Pulsar 220F comes with dual disc brakes, front and rear and ABS will be enabled in the front brake.
Other bikes of the Pulsar series, like RS200 and NS 200 has already receiving the ABS update. Pulsar 220F has the similar kind of ABS arrangement that is single channel.
There is no any major or minor change except the addition of ABS, Lets see the future update.
Since launched in 2007, Pulsar 220F saw many updates and changes. Previously, when fuel injection system caught malfunction, company started update and renamed it Pulsar 220 to Pulsar 220F.
In most recent, it received new graphics and underbelly fairing update, without any mechanical change in November 2018.

The 220 cc power packed machine produces a maximum power of 20.9 cc at 8,500 rpm. Also, it produces 18.6 Nm peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The twin-spark, oil-cooled and DTS-i technology powers the engine to give maximum output.
Concluding the point, price of Pulsar 220F has been hiked and you have to drain ₹7,600 more if you want to buy this bike.
Secondly, all bikes above 125 cc see a price hike, due to the new law.
However, you have to wait little, for the ABS version, as it is yet to arrive at your nearest Bajaj’s showroom.
